Astoria Restaurant Chooses SPC
SPC has just installed an NCR solution into the newly opened Astoria restaurant & Nightclub in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire. The Astoria is a converted 1960’s cinema in the town Centre and its opening on October 2nd was major news in the area, and was attended by over 300 customers. SPC supplied NCR RealPOS touchscreen terminals, running NCR’s Aloha hospitality software. The Astoria’s Directors selected SPC/NCR Aloha point-of-sale solution, due to the comprehensive day-to-day operations and back office reports required by the management, which link together stock control, labour management, loyalty, head office management & marketing application on line or remotely via NCR cloud.
“The integrated system facilitates all of the attributes that Astoria’s management require in their EPoS software, including promotions, half-priced bottles of wine, dining point rewards, complimentary dessert and champagne and invitations to special events. Reservations are also important to us. Tables are allocated for walk-ins through Aloha Guest Manager,” says Jayne Anderson, Operations Director. “The software’s seating plan helps in capacity handling at the entrance, as staff can see a graphical overview of current availability throughout the restaurant especially over the up & coming Christmas period.”
The system was installed by SPC & their Aloha business partner IPS from Glasgow.
